Miss Lago Vista 2008

Morgan Smith, Miss Lago Vista, is 17 and has a 4.8 GPA - and is involved in Leo's Club, Shannoahs Hope volunteer, National Honors Society, The Society of National Scholars, Prom Committee, Bible Study Leader, D-Now, Student Life Youth Ministry, Travis Oaks Youth Group, Varsity Golf and Martial Arts.

Laura Febbo, 1st runner up, is 17 and has a 4.4 GPA - and is involved in Leo's Club, National Honor Society, Junior Class, Student Council, Superior Honor Roll, Volleyball, and is Cheerleading Co-Captain.

Kristen Mayer, 2nd runner up, is 16 and has a 3.8 GPA - and is involved in National Honors Society, Leading Planet Youth Church Group, Vacation Bible School, Girl Scouts, Down Home Ranch Volunteer, Summer Volleyball Coach, Golf, Piano, Saxophone, Cheerleading, Track and Gymnastics.

Judging was extremely difficult and the scores were very close. Lago Vista was represented very well.

A local band called "I Don't Know" provided intermission entertainment much to the audience's delight.
