Greetings!

The Events calendar and Schedule of Activities are being updated on a daily basis, because people like you, with enthusiasm and talent, keep adding new ideas and accomplishments!

The tempo is rising, with new floats, additional sports, additional co-chairs, a variety of entertainment and bands, more registration forms on-line, plus the inevitable frustrations and joys.

The 4th of July is the communities' largest event, one where everyone works and plays together and has so much fun doing it! Yes! We ask your help in making it a spectacular day!

Here are some of the ways in which you and the members of your organization are asked to make this year's event spectacular:

Fundraisers:

1. Buy an official Lago Vista 4th of July T-shirt at the Shippin' Post beginning June 20th. Wear it often, and on the 4th!
   
2. Be Happy! Make a contribution for the fireworks from yourself and your organization! Mail to POB 4926, Lago Vista.

American Idyl - Lago Vista Style
Enter the contest at one of the local music venues, as a group or by yourself! Quartets, duets, choirs and singles are welcome! Sign up today at one of the local music venues!

Floats
Everyone loves a parade! Especially in Lago Vista! Build a
Float and be involved in this patriotic event! Show off your
pride in our community and America. Register LagoVistaJuly4.org

Sports
Form a team(s) for one or more of these sports from your organization and Register the team on LagoVistaJuly4.org: Soft ball, Badminton, Volleyball, Horseshoes, Washers, Tennis Referees are nice to have, also.

Family Activities
Well planed and supervised Family Fun Activities and Games for the entire family.
